He is Risen Indeed!

We had a wonderful Easter week with Junia's grandparents out visiting from California, and Uncle Todd visiting from Connecticut.

Junia had two Easter egg hunts. At church the pre-teen girls couldn't get enough of her and kept giving her the eggs they found. They thought it was adorable to watch her put it in the basket and then stretch out her hand, demanding more. As they admired her, one actually said, "She's cuter than a puppy!" Later we had another Easter egg hunt at Kirk's parent's house, and all four grandparents acted the same way as the teenage girls. (I'm afraid we have a pampered princess on our hands.)

We then had a great week and all sorts of fun with Grandma & Grandpa Sullivan. Junia loved the "Please Touch" children's museum in Philly - so much so that we decided to get a yearly pass. And we went to a "Living History Farm" around here where there were baby pigs, chicks and lambs for spring. Junia got to pet one of the lambs and she squealed with delight as she peered through wooden slats to watch the baby pigs playing. (Maybe she was just imitating them.)

Imitation is her big thing now. Kayo says she is entering her "rapid mapping" phase. If she hears a word she repeats it immediately. I have to update the list of words she knows now to include bunny, tickle, dolly and more that I can't think of right now. Grandma and Grandpa had a great time teaching her all sorts of things, and treating her to her first doll and her first haircut. They've only been gone since 4am this morning, but we all miss them terribly.

Hi Nolan Clan ...

This is Kristina Kaye, the church's Administrative Assistant. Just stumbled on your web page and I just had to tell you how precious it is! Junia is just too adorable.
